The Cal Look Drag Day is a drag racing event, based around the spirit of 60's and 70's California - the aim is to create a scene reminiscent of that era, where fire breathing Aircooled Racers and Cal Lookers line up together - but right here in the UK!!! The Racing is open to flat four VW Powered vehicles that are capable of completing a 1/4 mile in under 15.99 seconds and judging for the Show and Shine will follow these same principles = because it’s gotta be able to go as well as show!
A show and shine area will be allocated on Saturday afternoon, and it would be great to see as many vehicles as possible there for the line up, both for individual participant’s photo opportunities but also to assist the magazine's who will kindly be there to cover our event for future show reports. In addition to this area, representatives of the Drag Day Team will be out and about around the pits and the fire up lanes over the two days drooling over their clipboards as they perform the task of finding "The Cal Look Drag Day Best of Show"
